The MOMENTS IN SPACE AND TIME series started out as this intense obsession with making objects balanced. From the specific number of pathways to the color palette, I thought of these geometric designs as a way of giving time a form. The organic skyscapes were to be the spaces where time inhibited and that became a moment where they both existed. Most of the patterns are inspired by the architectural structures of windows, doors, and archways for I saw them as gateways into places I’ve yet to encounter. The small swirling patterns of lines are internal star charts that mimic constellation maps, to lead the lost mind back from the wilderness.
